Cashel Dennehy School Of Irish Dance
Wauwatosa, Madison and Hartland
Welcome To Cashel Dennehy
The Cashel Dennehy School of Irish Dance offers Irish
step
dance lessons to children of all abilities, ages five and up. There
are no auditions or qualifiers, just the child's interest in learning
to Irish dance. Classes are offered in Milwaukee, Madison,
and
Hartland,
Wisconsin.
Cashel Dennehy was originally named the Cashel Academy of Irish
Dance, taking its name from the famous Rock of Cashel in County
Tipperary, Ireland, a symbol of royalty and priestly power in Ireland
for more than a millennium. Our first dance masters, Dennis Dennehy,
TCRG, ADCRG, and his wife Marge Dennehy, TCRG, ADCRG, teachers of
Michael Flatley of Lord of the Dance and River Dance fame,
traveled to Milwaukee to teach and hosted classes in Chicago
for our students. In 1987, in honor of Mr.
and Mrs. Dennehy, the studio’s name was changed to Cashel Dennehy.
The Cashel Dennehy Difference
Family Is Core
From the parent volunteers who assist and mentor our first and second year families, to the friendships developed amongst our dancers and their families, Cashel Dennehy is rightfully deserving of its reputation for making all feel at home. Cashel Dennehy is truly an organization that welcomes and values families!
