Our Teachers

KATHY DENNEHY, TCRG (1984) ADCRG (1995)

Kathy is our Dance Master, our head teacher, and the creative genius behind our dance steps. Cashel Dennehy's meteoric rise to prominence in the competitive arena over the last decade is due in large part to Kathy's unrelenting energy and drive. Kathy holds certification in both teaching and judging from the Irish Dancing Commission.  Her teaching technique is exciting and dynamic, and she inspires her students to strive for success with her contagious enthusiasm and innovative solo steps.  She teaches dancers at the Open Prizewinner, Preliminary Championship, and Open Championship, and Championship Team levels.

Certified Teachers

All teachers at Cashel Dennehy are certified by the Irish Dance Commission - An Coimisiun’ le Rinci Gaelacha.  The term "TCRG" is a Gaelic acronym, and each teacher has passed an exhaustive exam to achieve qualification.  Teachers with an "ADCRG" have taken an additional examination and are qualified to judge competitions! Kathy Dennehy is both a TCRG and an ADCRG.
Combined our five teachers offer an incredible wealth of teaching experience, over 50 years in total.
